Yorick Lodge – Metropolitan Whisky Lodge – Inaugural Meeting 21st November 2023
The inaugural meeting of Yorick Lodge – The Metropolitan Whisky Lodge was held at Freemasons Hall on Tuesday Evening.
A very enjoyable and well-attended meeting was held followed by a festive board in the form of a sit-down buffet hosted at Freemasons Hall.
As is the format for Yorick Meetings, a whisky tasting along the Speyside theme with six Speyside whiskies being tasted was held as part of the festive board.
The evening was further enhanced by an informative talk by Yorik’s very own resident expert covering the art science of whisky tasting including how to wake up the whisky and how to taste coupled with a very clever selection all matured in different woods.
With the success of this meeting and the great time had by all, it is clear that Yorick Lodge is here to stamp its mark as the Metropolitan Whisky Lodge.
