The Second meeting of Yorick Lodge, The Metropolitan Whisky Lodge saw excellent numbers both in the temple and at the Irish Whiskey tasting festive board after.

We were further blessed by several very distinguished guests including Right Worshipful Brother Warren Duke MetGM (Designate), whom we really look forward to supporting at his forthcoming investiture.

The meeting saw a total of 65 attending in the temple and 62 dining, of which 26 were lodge members and 39 visitors. The evening further saw another 7 brethren becoming joining members of Yorick Metropolitan Whisky Lodge.

Following the meeting the Festive Board was held at Freemason’s Hall in the usual Yorick format of a sit-down buffet including tastings of 6 Irish Whiskeys, which was enjoyed by all. There was a very informative introduction to each whiskey to guide the Brethren through the tastings and ensure that everyone had maximum enjoyment from it.

A brilliant atmosphere and fraternal friendship was flowing freely throughout the entire evening and all Brethren enjoyed good food, company, and whiskey at the festive board to round off the excellent workings undertaken in the temple.
